DISCOVER THE LIVING HERITAGE

The Culture & Traditions of Karpathos

In Karpathos, tradition is not simply something remembered. It is part of everyday life, passed from one generation to the next through music, celebrations, traditional dress, and the customs that bring people together.

Through my photographs and personal connection to the island, I share the moments and traditions that continue to shape its identity.

A PERSONAL CONNECTION

More Than a Tradition

Growing up with a connection to Karpathos, I learned that traditions are not simply part of the island's past. They are still present in the way people celebrate, gather, and share their lives.

From traditional clothing to village festivals and family customs, these moments carry stories from one generation to the next.

Through Discover Karpathos Island, I hope to share and celebrate this living heritage, just as I have come to know and love it.
